• Rare tumor in lung
• Higher incidence in children/ adolescents

Physiology

• Benign lung post-inflammatory pseudotumor

Pathology

• Fibrous tissue/abundant plasma cells/ calcification or ossification (common)/ amyloid degeneration (may occur)

Diagnosis

• FOB: may occur endobronchially
• CXR/Chest CT Pattern: solitary (usually 2-5 cm, but may be large) lung nodule
  • May grow slowly but usually stable over time
