  • CXR/Chest CT
    • Usually right-sided (occasionally bilateral)
    • Usually associated with co-existent ascites
  • Pleural Fluid
    • Typically bloody or chocolate collared
  • CEA: may be elevated

Clinical Presentations

  • Pleural Effusion (see [[Pleural Effusion-Exudate]])

Treatment

  • Gonadtropin-Releasing Hormone Agonists: may be tried, but frequently ineffective
  • TAH+BSO: may be required
