Physiology

  • Benign lung neoplasm

Pathology

  • May be confused with Fibrous Histiocytoma or Leiomyoma

Diagnosis

  • FOB: may also occur endobronchially
  • CXR/Chest CT Pattern: solitary lung nodule (usually well-defined)
    • Location: no lobar predilection
    • Calcification: rare
    • Cavitation: none

Clinical

  • Usually asymptomatic
  • Lung Nodule (see [[Lung Nodule or Mass]])
  • Symptoms of Obstruction (see [[Obstructive Lung Disease]])
