Indications


Pharmacology

  • Dihydropyridine Calcium Channel Blocker (see Calcium Channel Blockers, [[Calcium Channel Blockers]]): inhibits influx of calcium into smooth muscle, inhibiting vasoconstriction
    • Systemic Vasodilation
    • Coronary Vasodilation
    • Absence of Negative Inotropy

Administration

  • PO: xxx
  • IV Drip: 5-15 mg/hr
