Epidemiology

Etiology

  • Rapid Correction of Hyponatremia: correction of serum sodium >12 mEq/L per 24 hrs

Clinical

  • Dysarthria
  • Mutisim
  • Dysphagia
  • Lethargy
  • Affective Changes
  • Spastic Quadriparesis
  • Seizures (see Seizures, [[Seizures]])
  • Coma (see Coma, [[Coma]])
  • Death
